Booking & Payment Policy

1. Booking Deposit

Online payments made through this website are booking deposits.

For standard room bookings, the deposit generally consists of the first-hour room charge plus any selected prepaid packages shown in the Deposit Summary.

The booking deposit is not necessarily the final amount for the guest’s visit.

2. Additional Venue Charges

Any additional charges, including extra room time, food and beverage purchases, applicable HST, and the 18% Service Charge, will be calculated based on the guest’s actual purchases and usage and settled at the venue.

3. Cancellation and Refunds

Online booking deposits are non-refundable when the customer cancels the booking or does not attend the reservation, except where a refund is required by applicable law.

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights or remedies available under applicable consumer protection law.

4. Rescheduling

Requests to reschedule must be made at least 24 hours before the reserved start time. Rescheduling is subject to availability and is not guaranteed. Changes requested within 24 hours of the reservation are not permitted.

5. No-Show and Late Arrival

The reserved booking time begins at the scheduled start time.

If the venue does not hear from the customer within 30 minutes after the scheduled start time, the room may be released.

A released room does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund of the online booking deposit, subject to applicable law.

6. Service Charge

An 18% Service Charge applies to all room bookings and food & beverage purchases, including Private Event bookings.

7. Taxes

HST is additional where applicable.

Minor Entry & Supervision

1. General Policy

  • We primarily operate as an entertainment venue offering private karaoke rooms.
  • Alcohol is available but not the main purpose of the business.
  • Persons under 19 years of age may enter the premises only when accompanied by their parent (legal guardian).

2. Conditions of Entry

  • Minors must remain inside their assigned karaoke room with their parent(guardian) at all times.
  • Minors are not permitted to enter or remain at the bar counter or alcohol-service area.
  • Alcoholic beverages may be served only to adults aged 19 or older.
  • Staff must verify identification (ID) for any guest appearing under 25 before serving alcohol.

3. Designated Family Hours

  • Before 9:00 PM: Family groups with minors are permitted.
  • After 9:00 PM: The venue operates as a 19+ environment, and minors are not allowed to remain on the premises.

1383 Karaoke Bar reserves the right to refuse entry or service to any group that fails to comply with this policy or the Ontario Liquor Licence and Control Act.

Outside Food & Beverage

1. General Rule

  • Outside food and beverages of any kind (including non-alcoholic drinks, bubble tea, and water bottles) are strictly prohibited inside the venue.
  • We offer a fully stocked bar and a delicious food menu for your enjoyment during your visit.

2. Liquor Licence Compliance

  • As a licensed establishment, it is a strict violation of Ontario liquor laws for guests to bring their own alcohol onto the premises.
  • Any unauthorized alcoholic beverages will be confiscated immediately.

3. Permitted Exceptions

  • Birthday Cakes: Birthday cakes and celebratory desserts are welcome! Please inform our staff upon arrival. We can provide plates and utensils upon request.
  • Medical/Infant Needs: Baby formula/food and specific medically necessary items are completely exempt from this rule.

🚨 Strict Enforcement

Staff reserve the right to check bags. Bringing outside alcohol or hidden food into the rooms will result in immediate eviction of the entire party without a refund, and a potential $50 cleaning fee.

Reservation & Arrival

1. Arrival Window Policy

Important: Due to high demand, your booking will begin promptly at the reserved time. If we do not hear from you within 30 minutes of your reservation, the room may be released.
